Award for most innovative use of teaching resources in PFE
Students at Tiffin Girls’ School developed a web-based product, www.theshareexchange.com. The website aims to help young people between the ages of 14 and 18 to improve their understanding of the world of money and to make informed decisions about their personal finances. The website consists of a series of activities of increasing difficulty, focusing on different aspects of finance and is designed to support and guide the learner through the site.
The judges found this approach particularly innovative, and recognised its potential to be used with a wide audience.
