Such was the impact of Miss Christine Mingay’s drive and commitment to PFE at Warden Park School, demonstrated by her introduction of financial literacy week, that she was nominated by a colleague for the Teacher award, and went on to win Warden Park School its second award (Warden Park School was the overall winner in the category ‘School award for most original idea in the delivery of PFE‘). She succeeded not only in making PFE relevant to the students, but also in making it exciting and engaging for them.
As a newcomer to the school, Deputy Director of Mathematics Christine Mingay made a tremendous impact on the whole school during her first term at the school by planning and running the hugely successful Warden Park financial literacy week event.
