Mr John Mills was nominated by the principal Maths teacher, Mr Rob Gaygan, for his commitment to the teaching of PFE and ensuring its relevance to the students. Praise received from parents for his work is further testament to his impact.
The judges said: “Mr Mills introduced a coherent and comprehensive approach that involved parental support, with real-life links to Maths that are really helpful for teachers.” His approach was rooted in good practice and was sustainable.
