With his online stocks and shares scheme, Peter Makower, Head of Mathematics at Westbrook Hay School, succeeded in bringing the world of finance to life for students and teachers not only at his own school, but in 11 other schools. The scheme introduces core aspects of PFE in a stimulating, challenging and fun environment. Peter has developed the scheme over 15 years and produced a teachers’ resource booklet to accompany the scheme, which is made available to other schools wanting to take part.
