Teacher award
This award will be given to a teacher or group of teachers who has/have been the inspiration behind the successful development of a PFE programme. Have you or a colleague really driven the development of a programme that enables your students to develop their personal finance skills? You can enter yourself or be nominated by a colleague in this category.
For example, a secondary Assistant Headteacher and a Head of Business Studies wanted to develop a more coherent approach to PFE within their school. They are aware that something is currently being taught within a range of subjects but they are unaware of the extent or quality of the provision. They are exploring the most suitable places in the curriculum for personal finance to be taught and also have an eye on how they could support their partner primary schools in their provision of PFE. The first stage will be to undertake a curriculum audit and a student questionnaire.
